Calligraphy Workshop2018-11-07T14:34:54+00:00

We are excited to partner with Rachel Fisher Calligraphy to present a special hands-on learning opportunity through our Workshop Series!

On December 8, 2018 we are continuing our Workshop Series with The History of Writing: A Calligraphy Workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to both learn about the history of writing and learn the basics of calligraphy through this special workshop. First, through our collection, we will explore the history of writing from ancient cuneiform to the advent of manuscripts and calligraphy.  Then it is time to turn to the pen and ink for a special tutorial by Rachel Fisher Calligraphy to learn the basics of calligraphy.

The cost of registration is $100/person (must be at least 18 years of age to participate). Each participant will receive a Calligraphy Starter Kit bundle that includes a Faber-Castell Brush pen, a Micron, a Rhodia Dot Grid Pad, Kuretake Sumi ink, a variety of pointed nibs, an instruction book and more.
